WET FELTING has a long history. This process dates to the Neolithic period, around the time that sheep were domesticated. Wet felting can be accomplished without the use of tools. All that is needed is wool, water, soap, and some “elbow grease.” Felt had many purposes throughout history. People used felt for clothing, rugs, homes, protective armor, and even small boats!
